Smooth-To-Brow

Here is a great massage move for anyone who is worried about those horizontal frown lines on the forehead. This move is called smooth to brow.

 

With  any massage technique, we want to make sure that we’re using a facial serum oil to provide a little bit of slip and glide on the skin and use a feather light touch. This is one of the first moves that absolutely sold facial yoga to me to help with my frown lines.

 

So we’re going to use four fingers, we’re going to place them in the center of the forehead, then we’re simply going to stroke down the temple and flick off. Now this is a feather light touch and we want to be doing this for roughly one minute. You may find it slightly bumpy or poppy. That’s a good sound. That means that you’re really working that lymphatic system, really getting rid of all that excess fluid and stagnant toxins from your skin, but also boosting the circulatory system at the same time.

 

This is really good for those horizontal lines you already have and also a great preventative measure as well. So we’re just stretching out the muscle to smooth out those fibers. So do this for one minute and then come off.
