Choose file, then click new, then choose document and in the new document dialog box started by choosing a preset.

For example, the print category shows various sizes and document options you can choose from. The new document dialog box is where you can access free and paid end up stock templates which are great starting point  for all web designs.

Here is how their InDesign workspace looks like their document window in the middle displays the file you’re currently working on their menu bar, and the very top shows the file, edit and other menus that give you access to a variety of commands, adjustments and settings.

The tool box contains tools for creating and editing artwork. Similar tools are grouped together. You can access them by clicking and holding a tool in the toolbox.

Panels on the right include properties, pages, and CC libraries.
