Wondering how to deal with anxiety? Here’s a quick breathing exercise that can really calm things down. It’s called the 4, 7, 8 breathing technique. To do this, breathe in through your nose for 4 counts, hold it in for 7 counts and then exhale for 8 counts. The elongated exhale helps calm your nerves and relax any anxiety you may be experiencing.
