Using your Calendar to Support your Health Goals
Hi. I’m Alexa Hanshaw, and today I want to talk with you about using your calendar to really support your health goals.
This can be any type of calendar you have, it can be the one in your laptop. It can be a hard copy one or it can be your phone calendar. And there are so many ways that you can use your calendar to help you with your goals, including making sure you set reminders for yourself to get up and move or go grab some water. If you notice that your water bottle seems to get empty and you never refill it.
Secondly, make sure you schedule in your self-care activities. This can be an exercise class or having a call with a friend or a family member.
And finally, use your calendar as an accountability buddy. If you have a hard time really sticking with something, your calendar can help you with the reminder as well as really writing it down. So you make sure that you get in whatever your health goal is, and if you notice, you’re still having some issues. Make sure you connect with a coach. Coaches can help you get to your health goals 10x faster, than if you’re doing it on your own.
